What to Do With an Expired Domain That Has 1M Views
You found an expired domain linked from a video with a million views. The link is still in the description, and people still click it. Here is what you can do with that traffic.
1. Redirect it to a matching site
If you run a site in the same niche, a redirect is the fastest win. Every click from the old video lands on your page. Keep the topic close: a guitar lesson domain should point at guitar content, not a casino.
2. Rebuild a simple version of the original
Check the Wayback Machine to see what the site used to be. A small page that serves the same intent, for example the merch store or the course the video mentioned, converts far better than a generic page.
3. Park it with an offer form
If you do not have a use for it yet, a parking page with an email capture and a make an offer form turns visitors into leads while you decide.
4. Flip it
Domains with a measurable source of traffic are easier to sell than random names. Include the source, the views and the backlink data in your listing.
What not to do
Do not use a creator's name or trademark to mislead visitors. Pick an honest page that matches what people expect when they click.
